The 2017 MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and there were plenty of big moves made. Here's a look at some of the biggest deals, along with grades for each team:

  • Justin Verlander to the Astros: The Astros gave up a package of prospects to acquire Verlander from the Tigers. Verlander is a seven-time All-Star and former AL MVP, and he should give the Astros a major boost in their rotation. Grade: A+
  • Sonny Gray to the Yankees: The Yankees traded for Gray from the Athletics, sending a package of prospects to Oakland. Gray is a two-time All-Star and has been one of the most consistent pitchers in baseball over the past few years. Grade: A
