Wvu Basketball In Running For 3 Star Lino Mark Working On Visit

WVU Basketball in Running for 3-Star Lino Mark, Working on Visit

WVU Impresses Mark

West Virginia University's basketball program has made a strong impression on 3-star recruit Lino Mark, and the Mountaineers are now considered a frontrunner for his services.

Mark, a 6-foot-6 wing from Orangeville, Ontario, has been receiving interest from several high-major programs, including Florida State, Maryland, and Virginia Tech.

However, WVU has emerged as a serious contender after Mark visited Morgantown last week and was impressed by the program's facilities and coaching staff.

Mark's Strengths

Mark is a versatile wing who can score from all three levels. He is a good shooter, has a strong handle, and can create his own shot.

He is also a solid defender and rebounder, making him a well-rounded prospect.

Mark is ranked as the No. 89 overall prospect in the 2023 class by 247Sports.

WVU's Chances

WVU is considered to be in good position to land Mark, but the Mountaineers will have to fend off competition from other schools.

Mark is expected to make a decision on his college choice in the coming weeks.

If WVU can secure his commitment, it would be a major addition for the program.
