For the first time ever, the NRL will host a sanctioned match in Fiji, as the Melbourne Storm take on the Newcastle Knights in Lautoka.
The match, which will be played on Saturday, January 28, 2024, will be a major event for Fiji, which has a long and proud history of rugby league.
The Storm are flying to Fiji under the Fiji Airways banner, and are scheduled to arrive in Lautoka on Thursday, January 26. The team will then hold a community blitz on Friday, January 27, before the big match on Saturday.
The match will be a sell-out, with tickets going on sale to the public on Monday, December 12. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
